Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato students and the general public will have the opportunity to become registered voters on Thursday, Sept. 14 from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at a registration table outside of Memorial Library on the University's campus mall. The voter registration activity is scheduled in advance of Sept. 19, which was designated this year as National Voter Registration Day. According to its website, National Voter Registration Day is a nonpartisan civic holiday that was first observed in 2012 in an effort to encourage Americans to register to vote.
