MANKATO, Minnesota — Matthew Jaeger nailed a 34-yard field goal with four seconds left in the game as No. 4-ranked Minnesota State Mankato staved off Minnesota State Moorhead's upset attempt 24-21 in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference game on Saturday at Blakeslee Stadium. With the game tied 21-21, MSU Mankato stopped the Dragons on a fourth-and-5 at the Mavericks' 11-yard line with 2:59 left in the game. The Mavericks then drained 2:55 off the clock on a 72-yard, 13-play drive capped by Jaeger's game-winning field goal.
