Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato and Mayo Clinic Health System in Southwest Minnesota will announce a new strategic collaboration between the two organizations intended to advance the region at a celebration event Thursday, Sept. 28 from 9-11 a.m. in the University's Centennial Student Union south ballroom. Edward Inch, president of Minnesota State Mankato, and James Hebl, M.D., regional vice president of Mayo Clinic Health System's Southwest Minnesota Region, will speak at the celebration event about the agreement's three strategic focus areas that aim to strengthen the surrounding communities – educational experiences; health and well-being; and research.
