Minnesota State University, Mankato Department of Music News Release MANKATO, Minn . – The Minnesota State University, Mankato Maverick Vocal Precision a cappella group has been selected to compete in the Acapocalypse vocal music competition/festival on March 14 in Port Washington, Wisconsin. The group will be competing against top college a cappella groups from the Upper Midwest. Cash prizes will be awarded to top groups, outstanding soloists and best vocal percussionist. Following the competition is an a cappella festival filled with clinics and a cappella performances.
