NORTH MANKATO — Gordini USA, which is building a distribution center in upper North Mankato, has received $1.1 million in state financial assistance. The company was approved for an $800,000 Job Creation Fund and $210,000 through the Minnesota Investment Fund, the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development announced Tuesday. The 20,000-square-foot distribution center in the Northport Industrial Park will cost $12.9 million with construction taking place this summer. The project expects to create 60 jobs within the first five years with an average wage of $19.
