Mankato, Minn. – More than 40 members of Minnesota State University, Mankato's Maverick Machine Bands will travel to Italy to perform on Dec. 30 at the Frascati Festival and on Jan. 1 in a New Year's Day parade in Rome. The Maverick Machine Band is scheduled to perform in the Jan. 1 parade at 8:30 a.m. CST, according to its itinerary. The New Year's Day parade will be live-streamed, and the Maverick Machine Band will share updates and photos on its Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. Band members will depart Minnesota on Tuesday, Dec.
